About

About

I am an interdisciplinary artist creating performative installations and working frequently in site-specific contexts. My practice moves between performance, video, sound, and text, and often begins with listening – in dialogue with voices, places, and landscapes. In international contexts, I have developed works that explore post-Soviet experiences of transformation, ecological entanglements, traditional singing practices, and collective forms of creation.

I have shared my work at Nowy Teatr in Warsaw, the Spielart Festival in Munich, HELLERAU in Dresden, the HayArt Center in Yerevan, Asortymenta Kimnata in Ukraine, as well as Hebbel am Ufer, Ballhaus Ost, and SOPHIENSÆLE in Berlin.

I have collaborated with artists such as Wojtek Blecharz, Martyna Poznańska, Susanne Fröhlich, Tereza Yakovyna, and the Otucha Collective. In 2024, together with Lisa Schettel, Constantin von Thun, Dr. Anett Laue, and Jasna Witkoski, I co-founded Soll & Werden e.V., an association dedicated to artistic production, research, and education. My commitment lies especially with experimental music theater: as a member of Zeitgenössisches Musiktheater Berlin, co-founder of the Netzwerk Freies Musiktheater, and advisory board member of Kulturraum GmbH Berlin.

My studies led me from literature, sociology, and media studies in Potsdam to Giessen, where I completed Applied Theatre Studies with distinction. Supported by grants such as Hauptstadtkulturfonds, Fonds Darstellende Künste, Perform Europe, and the Berlin Senate, I have been able to realize numerous projects. In 2013, BREAKING NEWS, a collaboration with Philipp Bergmann, received the B3 Newcomer Award “BEN.”

Beyond my artistic practice, I am active in Radical Therapy, helping to initiate new groups and deepening my understanding of how listening, speaking, and collective action connect.
